AIS REACH PHASE TWO IN COLLABORATION WITH CONNECTED PLACES CATAPULT
We are thrilled to announce that we have made it through to the final stage of the Accelerating Low Carbon Innovation programme, organised by National Highways in collaboration with Connected Places Catapult!
STAGE ONE
Stage One enabled us to present an initial concept and project plan for our innovative asset FRP Bridge Girder, which incorporates optical fibre to facilitate structural performance monitoring in real-time and over the long term.
STAGE TWO
Stage Two will see our vision turned into reality through product trials, with an aim towards reduced carbon construction.
DEVELOPMENT
Our ‘Bridge of the Future’ concept will be developed with Balfour Beatty plc with a long-term aim to help reduce carbon emissions through manufacture, transport, construction and maintenance.
We would like to thank everyone involved for your ongoing support, and can’t wait to see the finished outcome.
